What are your delivery charges?  
 
All UK orders are sent free of charge 
 
Free UK orders are sent using standard Royal Mail 2nd class delivery. However, we also offer an option to upgrade your order to first class delivery for just 99p. 
 

Enhanced UK delivery services

Next Day by 1pm Guaranteed - we also offer a Special Delivery Service which guarantees next day delivery by 1pm Monday – Friday at £7.95, or we can post Friday for delivery Saturday by 1pm for £10.50.

 

Ireland & Europe

All Europe orders over €25 qualify for FREE delivery. Otherwise delivery costs approximately €3.10 subject to exchange rates. Orders should arrive within 3 to 5 working days after shipping.

Enhanced Ireland/Europe delivery services

International Tracked & Signed – We offer an enhanced service to Ireland & Europe that provides tracking and takes a signature on delivery. This service aims to deliver in 3-5 working days*and costs approximately € 9.00 subject to exchange rates. If this service is not available to your destination country we will switch to the closest upgraded service available and let you know.

 

Worldwide

Our standard shipping service worldwide is International Standard. Shipping costs approximately $5 (subject to exchange rates) or is free for orders over $25.00 including USA, Canada and Australia. Orders Worldwide are shipped same day* for orders placed by 2.00pm GMT.

Royal Mail Delivery aims for International Standard are:

·         Europe in 3 to 5 working days

·         The rest of the world in 5 to 7 working days 

Fast track shipping Worldwide

Royal Mail upgraded shipping options are available across the world. We provide the International Tracked & Signed service by Royal Mail as an upgraded shipping option for approximately $12.00 subject to exchange rates. If this method is not available to your destination country we will switch to the closest upgraded service method (International Tracked or International Signed) and confirm this to you.

Royal Mail International Tracked & signature services delivery aims are:

*Europe within 3-5 business days

*Delivery worldwide within 5-7 business days

We may be able to offer UPS 2 business day guaranteed service to your destination country. Please contact us by email for availability and costs. (N.B. The UPS service is available to the USA & Canada and costs $21.00.)

How quickly should I expect my order?
 
All ordered placed before 2pm weekdays are despatched the same day. Items ordered after 2pm weekdays are despatched the next working day. Weekend orders are despatched on the following Monday (excluding bank holidays) .This excludes any orders that contain woven labels. These take approximately 6 - 8 days to produce and are then shipped as above.
 
Can I use a different delivery address? Yes, there is a separate section for the delivery address in the checkout process.

Is there a limit to the number of characters on a name label? We are able to produce labels on one or two lines therefore accommodating longer names. We recommend no more than 19 characters per line. However, if you require more please contact us on 0333 123 3121 to discuss various options.

Can I have the name printed in capitals? Yes, we print exactly what you type in. So if you want all capitals then just type it that way.

The name I typed in looks a little small on the label on the website. Don’t worry as we resize all names to make maximum use of the label space available before printing.

Can I have accents on letters? No problem; we can print all accents and any unusual letters.

Can you remove the iron-on labels? No, the labels are intended to be permanent! Should you wish to pass on any clothing or give them to a charity shop we sell blank labels which can be applied over the top of the existing label. We also sell laundry pens should you wish to cover the name – again this would be a permanent solution.

What is the returns policy?

For customised labels, due to their unique nature we are unfortunately unable to refund any orders once they have been produced.  If you have ordered in error, please contact us at the earliest possible opportunity via phone 0333 123 3123 email care@carehomelabelco.com or via the online returns form – if we haven’t yet produced the label we may be able to refund the order.

For standard labels, please use the online returns form to request an RMA number. If the error is ours, we’ll refund the cost of return delivery. Otherwise, we’ll deduct the cost of return delivery from your refund.

We’ll refund the the order as soon as we receive it back into our returns department.

Can you have different coloured labels? Our iron-on labels are in white only as different colour labels do not have the same adhesive quality as white labels. We are, however, able to print the labels in five different colour fonts (black, blue, green, pink and red). The vinyl labels come in blue, green, pink, red and yellow and we are able to print in white and black text.

My iron-on labels are coming off in the wash. Why? The most likely reason for the labels coming off in the wash was that the iron was not hot enough when they were applied or the full sequence (apply and cool three times) was not followed. Follow the instructions that came with the labels or view an instructional video on our website.

Do the stick-on labels come off in a dishwasher? No, all the vinyl labels are dishwasher safe and are designed to withstand the hottest (and longest wash cycle). Please refrain from putting items in the dishwasher in the first 24 hours after applying to a surface.

What fonts are available? We offer three fonts: Kristen ICT is our standard/default font.  We also offer Arial which is a clear and easy to read font as well as Comic Sans. Should you require a special font please contact us and we will see what we can do.

Can we add logos/images? Yes, we have a choice of different images that can be included on our labels. Please see our website for the full range. In their early years children are often able to identify an image rather than their name so it is a good idea to include one.

Do the tagg-on labels irritate the wearer? The answer is no (in our experience) as the taggits are very small and flat and should therefore not rub against the skin.   

Is it possible to add a telephone number next to the name? Yes, as long as the number of characters does not exceed 19.

My labels have arrived with a spelling mistake and/or the image is not the one I selected. We have a rigorous quality control process including a final quality check before despatch. However, if we have made a mistake we “own” it and a replacement set of labels (as per your original order) will be printed and sent 1st class mail immediately. If the mistake is yours, we will have to charge you for a replacement set but we will send the replacement ASAP.

Can one label pack contain labels with different names and/or images? Unfortunately not. Each pack is printed with the same text and picture.

Can I order by phone? Of course you can. We even have a mobile-friendly number - 0333 123 3121. If we are not available there is an answerphone so please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Can the stick-on labels be used in shoes? No. We have a dedicated range of shoe labels which come with a clear laminated vinyl patch which are designed to go over the shoe labels. This is to protect them from wearing away with feet constantly rubbing them. The shoe labels are in the shape of feet (left and right) which is also a great training aid to help the child to put the right shoe on the right foot.
